Rivera Sun Author/Activist Rivera Sun has written many novels, including The Dandelion Insurrection. In fiction and real life, she shares the strategies of making change with nonviolence. She is the Editor of Nonviolence News and nationwide trainer in strategy for nonviolent campaigns. She will share why stories matter. As we strive to shift from the "Old Story" of violence, conquest, domination, and exploitation to a "New Story", knowing how to change your story, and change the story is an essential skill for all changemakers. Laurie Marshall is a Creative Activist who has used art as a healing/ unifying tool with underserved youth for 35 years. Founder of Unity Through Creativity Foundation and the Singing Tree Project, her collaborative mural processes have been used by NASA, FEMA, the Department of Interior, George Washington University’s Center for Excellence in Public Leadership, public schools and fosters homes.
